Shah Rukh Khan is in the news again, but this time he is not acting. He is the voice of Mufasa in the Hindi version of The Lion King. His son, Aryan, is back as Simba. The great news is that SRK’s youngest son, AbRam, is also part of the movie, voicing baby Simba. In 2019, Shah Rukh and Aryan voiced Mufasa and Simba in the same film. Shah Rukh Khan talks about AbRam as Baby Mufasa
In a chat, SRK mentioned AbRam Khan’s part in Mufasa: The Lion King. When he was asked how AbRam felt about getting a role in the Hindi movie, SRK said his son replied, “I will do it; who else will?” He also added that Gauri, Aryan, and Suhana were just as excited as AbRam. “I can’t quite express it, but since we’ve done this before—starting with The Incredibles and then The Lion King, with Aryan and me taking part—I feel like this is just part of our family tale. The star said that having AbRam in Mufasa: The Lion King is very special to him because he gets to be the Lion King while his son plays Baby Mufasa.”

Mufasa: The Lion King hit theaters on December 20, 2024. SRK’s upcoming movie is called King, and it’s an action thriller. Sujoy Ghosh was first supposed to be the director, but now Siddharth Anand, who made Pathaan, will direct instead. Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan will also play key roles in the film. They plan to start filming in 2025, with the movie set to come out in 2026.
