as we all know the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024 are on the way only but the fight just started when the tickets were confirmed, The BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has come up with its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Among them are two names from the entertainment industry; Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil.
They will be fighting from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh ( kangana ranaut) and Meerut constituency in Uttar Pradesh ( Arun Govil) respectively.
Kangana has been a vocal supporter of BJP and its governance for years. After getting the news, the actress shared her happiness on her social media handle; X (formerly Twitter) page by writing,
“My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) has always had my unconditional support, today the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Loksabha candidate from my birth place Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Loksabha polls. I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.”
Arun Govil, who is already a member of the BJP since 2021, is best known for his portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s classic television show Ramayan on Doordarshan. He has also acted in several Hindi movies.
Upcoming Projects Of Both Actors:
Arun Govil will next be seen in the role of Lord Vitthal in the Hindi movie Sant Tukaram, where well-known Marathi actor Subodh Bhave will play the titular role.
Kangana, on the other hand, will next be seen in the role of India’s former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency, which she has also directed.
Kangana Ranaut slams Congress leader after she makes derogatory comments about the Queen actress
Kangana is known for her blunt personality and quick-wittedness, On Sunday, Kangana Ranaut took to her official social media handle to announce her association with the Bharatiya Janata Party, where she announced that she will be contesting the upcoming elections as their Lok Sabha Candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh Constituency.
After this announcement came into the limelight, a member of the Congress party “Supriya” took to the platform to make some derogatory comments about the actress and also posted her photo from one of her bold photoshoots.
some time back, Kangana Ranaut had done a couple of bold photoshoots in a white color corset bralette top, which was reposted by the Congress leader Supriya Shrinate on her Instagram handle. It was followed by a rather nasty comment on the actress’s character, which did not go well with her. Owing to the same, Ranaut raised her voice against such demeaning statements about herself and commented,
“Dear Supriya ji, In the last 20 years of my career as an artist I have played all kinds of women. From a naive girl in Queen to a seductive spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivii. We must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudices, we must rise above the curiosity about their body parts and above all we must refrain from using sex workers challenging lives or circumstances as some kind of abuse or slur… every woman deserves her dignity”.
Supriya’s account was hacked and she didn’t state any demeaning statements about Kangana:
Soon after Kangana’s post, Supriya Shrinate claimed that her account was hacked and that the statement was not made by her. She also blamed a parody account which is expected to be in her name and shared a video with a caption in Hindi that read,
मेरे फेसबुक और इंस्टा के अकाउंट पर कई लोगों का एक्सेस है. इसमें से किसी व्यक्ति ने आज एक बेहद घृणित और आपत्तिजनक पोस्ट किया था. मुझे जैसे ही इसकी जानकारी हुई मैंने वह पोस्ट हटा दिया. जो भी मुझे जानते हैं, वह यह अच्छी तरह से जानते हैं कि मैं किसी भी महिला के लिए व्यक्तिगत भोंडी बात नहीं करती हूँ. मेरी जानकारी में आया है कि यह पोस्ट पहले एक पैरोडी अकाउंट (@Supriyaparody) पर चल रहा था. यहां से किसी ने यह पोस्ट उठाकर मेरे अकाउंट पर पोस्ट कर दिया. मैं ऐसा करने वाले की पहचान में लगी हूं. साथ ही मेरे नाम का दुरूपयोग कर बनाए गए पैरोडी अकाउंट को भी X में रिपोर्ट किया है.
